「またねっ」と言って別れました After a long ,busy, and very hot summer, the season has finally changed and it feels like autumn.
Helene ,who did a homestay at our house, packed all her good memories into her suitcase and has returned safely to France.
whether it wull be in france, or again here in Japan, we don't know ,but we're sure that we will see each other again.Already looking forward to that day,we just said 'mata ne' {see you again} instead of 'goodbye', and we parted company.
Pomme means apple in French. Calvados is an apple flavoured sweet made in the Calvados Prefecture in the Normandy Ragion in Northern France. They are cheery -sized confectionaries that have the fragrance of apple brandy and when you bite into them the sweet sourness of apples.

ﾌﾟﾛｳﾞｧﾝｽ地方はﾌﾙｰﾂの産地で果物のほかにﾜｲﾝやﾊﾞﾗの花も有名
だそうですよ。行ってみた〜い！
these are delicious sweets from the Provence Region in the south of France. they are made with a lot of fruit and almonds. The Provence Region , which is renowned for its fruit growing, is also famous for roses and wine. It makes me want to go there !
We both got home at about 5 today so we prepared dinner together.After finding out that Helene really likes eggs,I cooked the best rice-stuffing omelette(a popular dish known as "omrice"in Japanese) that I have ever made. For dessert,we followed a new recipe together and made pineapple ice-cream.

She rose this morning with bright eyes and a refreshing smile after a nice deep sleep.
she told me that for breakfast at home in France.she doesnt eat a lot, and was content to have chocolate cereal and orange juice instesd of a traditional Japanese breakfast.
I drove her to tha station ,where she was met and accompanied to uni by another student of University,though starting tomorrow, she will be making the daily trip on the train to the University in Osaka,by herself.
In the evening ,she called to say that she was back at the local station after her first day at University,so I drove down the hill to pick her up. It was great to see her back safe and sound.
いよいよ今日から大阪市立大学の留学生
昨夜はぐっすり眠れたようでさわやかな笑顔
朝食はﾁｮｺ粒たっぷりのｼﾘｱﾙとｵﾚﾝｼﾞｼﾞｭｰｽに頂きもののﾒﾛﾝ｡｡ﾌﾗﾝｽで
の朝食はほとんどｼﾘｱﾙだけで沢山食べないということでｼﾘｱﾙは昨夜ｴ
ﾚｰﾇと選びました・
駅まで送って行き迎えに来てくださってた市立大の学生さんと
一緒に大学まで。。でも明日からは一人で通学です
夕方ｴﾚｰﾇから帰るｺｰﾙの電話があり私は駅まで迎えに行きました
無事帰ってこれて良かった
ｴﾚｰﾇは犬が大好きで我が家の愛犬ｷｯｸともすっかり仲良し
散歩はこれから彼女の日課になりそうです
Helene loves dogs and hit it off staright away with our adorable little Pekinese Kick.She enjoyed taking Kick for a walk. It looks like it might become part of her daily routine while she ia here.Lucky Kick
It's been ages since my last update..It's high time I wrote something for you all. From today,until the 4th of August, a student of Le Harve University in France, will be doing a homestay at my place.
Her name is Helene, and she will be attending Osaka Ichiritu
University. on this the first of our 38 days together,i am hoping to make her stay as fun and rewardimg as possible ,and to send her home in August with an extra suitcase packed full of wonderful memories. I will be updating this blog with commentary and photos so that her family ,boyfriend and friends back in France can see what she is up to here in Japan. Be sure to visit regularly to see what we have been doing.
